Canopy Set-up Guide

  1. Lay out canopy in your desired area. Making sure that you do not see the tie down ropes for the center poles. They should be under the tent; this makes sure that the tent is not upside down.

  2. Pull the ropes out from the perimeter of the tent. Approximately 6’ from the side of the tent is where you nail the stakes in. Every rope has one stake to go around the tent. Making sure that the stakes are secure. The rope makes a loop. Place the loop around the stake. The plastic slider is what you are going to use for tightening the tent later.

  3. Start putting the center poles together. The center poles are made up of 2 large bottom poles and 1 smaller pole. Before you join the 2 larger poles make sure that you look at the bottom of the pole to make sure that there is no dirt inside it.

  4. With the remaining poles join together 1 small and 1 large this makes the side pole. Place them around the tent.

  5. Start putting the side poles in the tent through the grommets. Then insert the center poles through the leather ring.

  6. The more you keep the canopy square the better it will look. By pulling on the plastic slider you can tighten the tent. Last tie down the rope around the center pole and you are finished.

Slushie Machines

Electrical needs 20 amp outlet and must be plugged directly into wall. No extension cords!

Mixing of Flavors
Slushie mix is a ratio of 4:1 four gallons of water to one gallon of slushie mix. It is very important to make your measurements correct.

***Helpful hints*** Purchase 4 gallons of bottled water for each flavor ahead of time. After you mix the flavors you can store them in the refrigerator to keep them cold. This will decrease time for freezing and more time for partying. Mix water and slush base with a whisk stirring vigorously in a bucket. Pour the flavors from the bucket back into the gallon jugs. The machine holds about 2.5 to 3 gallons of slushie mix per side.

Using the Machine
Pour slushie flavors in the clear basins. Turn on the main power (looks like a lightning bolt). Turn on the augers and the freezer. (looks like a circular arrow and a snow flake). In a few minutes, the green light will turn on. This means that the compressor has turned on. In about 3/4 of an hour, look for ice flakes in the slushie mix. Please allow 1-2 hours to let the slushie freeze totally. The time for freezing is dependent on where you place the machine. If you are in a cool, dry area it will take less time to freeze. If you are in a hot, humid area it will take a little longer to freeze. Try to keep the machine out of direct sunlight.

Cleaning of the Machine
Drain unused portion of the slushie mix and rinse the inside holding area. Do not allow any water to be squirted into the base of the machine. You DO NOT have to take the machine apart, we will do that for you!!

Chocolate Fountain

It is important to make sure the machine is level for the chocolate to flow smoothly with no gaps nor spaces. The feet can be adjusted by rotating them up and down.

For chocolate that is in chip or shaved form, the heat dial should be placed on a setting of "4" for 5-10 minutes prior to pouring in the chocolate in the fountain. We recommend that you put approximately 1/2 (9 lbs.) the chocolate into the fountain first. Once the chocolate is melted, add the rest of the chocolate. the melting chocolate should be stirred occasionally to avoid sticking to the bowl.(30-45 minutes are generally necessary to melt all the chocolate.) Once the chocolate has been completely melted, turn the heat dial off and turn on the auger. If the chocolate starts to harden, the heat dial can be turned to low for several minutes.

For chocolate that is pre-melted or otherwise in liquid form, the heat should be off. The heat of the motor and the friction of the auger are sufficient to keep the chocolate melted. Pour in the chocolate into the fountain and turn on the auger switch. If the chocolate starts to harden, the heat dial can be turned low for several minutes.

To make sure that the chocolate flows smoothly with no gaps or spaces. Adjust by screwing the feet up and down to make make the chocolate fountain level. While the fountain is in operation just lift one side at a time to see how the chocolate flows and adjust the foot.
